What do I need to transfer?

Hi. So, do I have to retake the standardized tests again or am I allowed to use the old ones?

Also, does my highschool GPA still matter?

And how do I get rec letters and transcript if I don’t enroll in highschool anymore?

Thank you!!

You can use the ones you took in HS.

Anywhere from no, to a little, to a lot; depending on the school and the year you’re applying to transfer. As a soph transfer applicant, your HS record & test scores will matter more than as a jr transfer applicant. Some schools don’t require HS transcripts for jr applicants.

Most HSs keep these records, give them a call and find out what you have to do.

But i can take them again right?

The SAT that is

You can take the SAT again, but when you apply as a transfer, they usually don’t ask for your SAT scores, so you really have no need to retake them.

There is no single answer, you need to check each college website. Some colleges ask for a SAT score, some don’t, some accept SATs taken in college, some don’t.
