what do i need?

i just recently found out that you can sel study AP’s.and since im doing the IB diploma program,i wont be able to take many AP classes.(only 1).so i wanted to self study some AP’s to have IB and AP credits.

next yeear im taking AP euro as a class but i am self studying AP human geography.i heard that barrons was good and thats what i will use.but my question is,is that all i will need?just a review book?dont i need a text book or anything else?

my question is not just about human geography, its about AP’s in general.dont i need more than those paperback review books?or will those be enough

The review books are enough. I think teachers just give us textbooks for fun or to do busy work.

I wouldn’t recommend self studying Human Geo if your incentive is gaining college credits. Barely any colleges give credit for Human Geo. Try taking a harder AP like Chem (which is definitely self studiable).

well my schools " IB path" includes AP human geography as a sophomore, but i wanted to take AP euro instead.Thats why i am self studying Human geo.to take another AP(euro) instead.ill try to self study ap chemistry junior year, after i take honors chemistry and have a common understanding of the subject
