What do I still need to do? (Not going to orientation, FA stuff, etc.)

<p>It’s getting closer and closer to time to start school and I still haven’t figured anything out about what to do since I’m not going to orientation, how to get my classes, etc. Do I need to do something for that or should that or should I wait for them to e-mail me something, or something along those lines?</p>

<p>Also, for Financial aid stuff, when do I need to go out and get the loans and stuff/accept offers? I haven’t done any of that yet and I suspect I need to get on that soon…</p>

<p>Also, general questions, what do I need to bring to my dorm besides clothes/computer/fans/bed stuff? Like is there a fridge/microwave already there or do i need to bring one? Also, does anyone know how I can get my shipping address so I know where to send my stuff?</p>

“7. How can I register for classes if I do not attend Orientation?
If extenuating circumstances prevent you from attending an orientation session, you may order a materials packet. To order materials, log into the Student Reservation System and complete a Materials Request submission. Orientation Programs begins mailing materials in early July for fall students and early December for spring students.”</p>

<p>2) They should email you requesting the various items. Basically, for Stafford loans, you need to submit a Stafford loan request form as well as sign a promissory note at <a href=“http://www.studentloans.gov%5B/url%5D”>www.studentloans.gov</a> (or on paper).
The Perkins loan has a separate promissory note you’ll sign through a link from the USC Financial Aid office.</p>

Looks like dorms come with a mini fridge/microwave and apartments come only with a fridge, between that PDF and searching the forums. Not 100% on this.</p>
