Only 2 weeks, needs to go back one week earlier for sorority. Might shadow doc. if there is an opportunity, mostly relax, did not want to go anywhere, wanted to be at home.

spend time with family, spend time with HS friends and college friends, shop, get ready for the holidays, avoid relatives (yuck).

finish plans for new student organization I’m starting, write some personal statements for med school applications, start studying for MCAT, shadow family practice doc

return to school, party and relax with friends, run a few experiments at my lab, shadow some physicians, paint my family room, organize my life

and just found out that mom might take me on a spur of the moment trip to florida because everyone else in my family is going on some winter trip besides us, and she doesn’t want to feel left out. of course i’ll happily oblige to a few days in the sun!

i’m free december 16-january 19, yippee!

sleep, eat, go to doctor’s appointments, meet up with friends, and spend time with family.

Mine will only be home for less than 2 weeks (grad student…) and will sleep, sleep, sleep! Wake up past noon, then sleep again well past 2 or 3 am. This schedule would be perfect if we lived on Europe time!
In between, eat, watch TV, visit with HS friends, also spend a lot of time with us (very thankful for that). She also has plans to start working on a paper over break but we’ll see how that goes…she’s always distracted when at home!

My DD would like to get a seasonal job but is finding that she gets home too late to be considered for holiday help. Too bad, she could use the money and has no time during the semesters to get a part time job.

My HS daughter will have her mouth to the instrument most of break since All-State auditions are the first week of January. We are hitting Las Vegas for 4 days…one of the boys is turning 21 (mainly brothers taking brothers) but my husbands insists we go to get anyone out of trouble, if trouble finds them (which of course is statistically possible or we would not be going)

Could be worse…my sweet nieces, home from college are having their wisdom teeth removed…urgghhh…I could think of so many other things to do.
