agentwood, there are a few threads on this very topic… believe me, you are not alone. My daughter’s best friend’s mom said that very same thing to me… and then followed up with “Well, WE just love her to bits. She can come and live with us anytime.” !!! I’ve kind of given up trying to reason with people like this… check those threads, there are some very articulate comebacks posted by the very wonderful parents on this board (none of whom sent their kids away agauinst their will)!</p>
