What do the admission officer see at CA?

I am wondering if admission officers can see the other schools that someone applied to, especially if one ‘ED’ed’ or ‘EA’ed’ to another school. Can they get that information even if they can’t see the exact school that you applied to? What do you think? If they do, would they think you preferred another school to theirs and that’s why you are ‘RDiing’ to their school? What is the impact? I am just hoping that they are only able to log in to their school’s application form only and not know whether you applied to 10 other schools.

CA means common application

They cannot see the other schools you apply to. The teachers you asked to do your recs cannot see any of the schools you apply to. Only your GC knows where all you are applying to.

Thanks Lakemom. So techincally they can’t tell the number of schools you have applied to, even if they can’t see the names of the schools? Correct?

That’s right. They cannot see anything but their own school’s application.
