I just got my June SAT II scores back and was not happy. They were as follows:
Literature - 590
Math 1 - 530
History - 620
I don’t know what happened, because I did pretty well on the reasoning test (2000), but these scores are making me anxious. None of the universities I want to apply to specify the SAT II scores that they are looking for. Should I take these all again?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: If you take a look at the percentiles ([Page Not Found](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools)%5DPage”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools)), then you should get an idea of how you scored compared to others. Your math 1 score is below average, and your lit/history scores are just barely above average.

If you’re applying anywhere “competitive”, you should try to raise those scores up some. Of course, your reasoning scores are more important, so if you only have one retake left, redo the reasoning for, perhaps, a 2100+. But if you’ve got time, redo the subjects.
