Say I’m a doctor; been working for 20 years…I decide to go to school for chemical engineering because I have the money and I’m interested in it…what will a college look at? All they really have to go off of is work experience since that’s all I’ve had been doing…?

Totally hypothetical btw; I’m a junior in HS haha.

Depends on where you would want to go do it. Say you wanted to go to the flagship university where you lived, and had graduated from a similar college. It would be sort of like being a transfer student. I think they would look at your undergrad academic record and accept any credits that you could apply to the new degree. I assume they would accept old SAT scores as well if you had 'em (re-calibrated, of course, since you whippersnappers take an easier version than we oldsters did!
).

What if I tried somewhere a little more challenging than the flagship?
