<p>Post-graduate (PG) school is like a 13th year of high school. Some kids do that to:

  1. strengthen their transcript
  2. take a gap-year, especially if they weren’t “ready for college” or their test scores and college apps were incomplete
  3. end HS from a different school for numerous reasons
  4. “show” a college they have matured</p>
