What do universities really want to hear?

<p>So here’s the essay topic:</p>

<p>What qualities or unique characteristics do you possess that would allow you to contribute to the UCF community?
(University of Central Florida)</p>

<p>and I’m trying to think of what characteristics a college is looking for in a person.
Of course there’s being motivated and such
but when it comes to ‘unique characteristics’ what would the admissions office want to hear?</p>

<p>you’ve gotten off to the wrong start. everyone else is gonna ask themselves the same thing and come up with the same answers…so THINK about your own personality and ask your friends/parents what they think</p>
