What do you buy at Costco?

Love Costco, most prices are really good, although I still think that some things are more affordable at Walmart or Target.
My only complaint is that sometimes I find a product I love and the next time I am there it is MIA and I never find it again…feel like they leave me hanging sometimes…

Our motto is if you see something at Costco & like it, get it & decide later whether you’ll keep it. No one knows whether the item will be there later or ever again (including the store staff). Their return policy is excellent, though as you note, some other stores may have better prices. Costco is so convenient for us–only 5 minutes from our house (closer than WalMart & MUCH closer than Target).

I love Costco but ours is crazy busy, getting in and out of the parking lot is a challenge and if you go at the wrong time negotiating the aisles can be quite difficult. I mostly go to buy eggs (I save a couple bucks on eggs and spend a couple hundred on fun things I don’t necessarily need LOL), things for my son’s lunch, orange juice, Pomegranate juice, blueberries, wine, paper towels, tp, etc… Yesterday I got a three pack of Contigo BPA free water bottles,a two-pack of Kirkland camis, a cute DKNY Jeans hooded henley and a case of tennis balls

I KNOW!! My 23-year-old still is looking for the Mini Bagel Dogs we got there when he was in middle school.

^^^OMG, my son lived on those things during his major growth spurt! I personally thought they were gross, but my son and husband loved them.

My favorite Costco items lately are the Boathouse Farms protein drinks and the Naked Juice Blueberry blend drinks. I also love the marinated shrimp! I love it tossed in a spinach salad for lunch. Over the holidays, I bought several of the turkey breasts and they were perfect for our small family. I wish they carried them all year. And we are still working on the David’s cookie dough I bought on clearance last month!

I love Costco too. My fav is whole grain bread Country Club. I also really like to the meat and fish. The filet mignon is really good and the price is reasonable. And, I’m getting new ideas as I read this threat.

I saw those hooded henley DKNY tops - cute stuff!

Osso Bucco and Lamb Shank (already cooked) in the frozen section. And I think their smoked salmon is THE BEST. I could eat that giant package on the ride home from the store.

Just had the Costco frozen Tilapia tortilla encrusted lime chipotle filets with stir fry. Delicious! So easy to cook.

Shrimp wonton soup.

don’t know if this was mentioned before or not…but I just finished up a bag of those little gourmet cucumbers…boy were they delicious! Thin, tender and SWEET! I can’t wait to get another bag…and any trip to Costco wouldn’t be complete without a purchase of a pack of Filet Mignons…mmmmmmmmmm

I bought some chicken and cilantro wontons this week - a new item apparently - I pan fried them and they were yummy - light and yummy! Will try them in some soup this week…figure they would be good with a chicken broth.

S3 just got his driver’s permit. I need to get to Costco ASAP to stock up on wine.

Michael Kors pea coat

tx5athome, sorry, but wine isn’t going to do it. Have you seen those Costco-ginormous bottles of the hard stuff? Walk right past the wine and stock up.

The costco vodka is actually pretty good. someone told me that it is actually made by a high end distillery (not Grey Goose…maybe Belvedere?) Pretty bottle too.

Costco vodka? Really? And it’s good?

Hmmm. I confess to being a bit of a liquor snob, but I’m going to try it!

Huge jars of mustard.

They don’t usually have gaming consoles (or soda) at mine, but today, I bought a new X box 360 with Kinect, just days after our six year old 360 sported “the red ring of death”. It was a sign, right?

Oh, and I boy prime beef, atlantic salmon (farmed… sorry…), and smoked salmon.

I’m not much of an ice cream eater but discovered the most delicious ice cream today. The brand is Mikawaya and it is called Mochi. It is three different flavors of ice cream (mango, coffee and green tea) covered in Mochi (Japanese rice cake). I’m resisting the temptation to finish off the box…
