What do you consider more or less "mandatory" AP/DE classes?

I didn’t take any AP or DE courses 9-11th grade (GPA is 3.9, 31 ACT). I am starting to worry about a lack of preparation and overall readiness to compete with the average Michigan freshman who has taken advantage college level coursework. This is my senior year, and intend to work really hard over the next 12 months, including taking advantage of summer semester in '14 at Oakland. To be clear, I do not know what I intend to major in. What would you say are the most helpful courses to complete either AP or during the fall/winter/summer terms at local university?

Thanks.

If you plan on doing some sort of quant field then do Calc, Stats, possibly Physics. If you plan on doing science do Chem and Bio. If you plan on doing humanities do some language and English or something. If something like business do any/all of them.

There is no clear cut answer to this question, IMO. Take a couple AP classes in areas that interest you and are your strong points. We can’t suggest courses for you without knowledge on your interests (although Vlad is completely accurate for each appropriate field).
