<p>what do you guys think about my chances to these colleges??
-i already applied to UT AUstin and i got into business, but now i am applying to bus honors and a liberal arts honors program called Plan 2</p>

<p>Class rank- 12 out of 706 (big competitive pubilc school)
gpa- 5.2625/5. unweighted- 3.975</p>
<p>recs- probably not like spectacular but probably good, myoptional ones were really good though, i had my violin teacher and my friend write me one</p>
<p>essays-
my common application one was about taking risks and initiatives, my eng teacher siad it has a lot of voice but i can’t really judgeit myself</p>
<p>the short essay was about taking pictures but i accidentally madea typo and ispelled assortment as assorment, so im rlly scared</p>
<p>stanford- iwrote oneabout a picture of hte reflection of a sunset on water and how the details vanish on the waters reflection of the sunset and related that to life and how you have to let go of mistakes and things becuase they dont show up in the reflection.</p>
<p>extracurriculars-
ORCHESTRA- 10 hrs a week, since 5th grade, secction leader, letters, president (150memb), made region orchestra, played in musicals (our orch won a grammyaward 1 of 7 in country), our orch won state honor orchsetra runner up, our full orchestra won state runner up too, got ratings of excellents every year at a solo competition since 6th grade
DANCE TEAM- 15 hrs a week, 3 years, won spirit award and kick award, national champions, company of the year
SOS- senior women 75 member charity club, PRESIDENT, did a bunch of service projects
SPANISH national honor society- treasurer,secretary , all 4 years
PALs- peer assistance and leadership skills, volunteer club you get accepted into, help kids a bunch
STUCO- all 4 years
HOSA- just this year when i got interestedin medicine
STARS- charity club to help special ed kids
Mu Alpha Theta- all 4 yaears, but i only competed for the first two</p>
<p>other outside of school volunteer stuff:
hosptial volunteering- 10-12
did a fahsion show to raise money for asia
MENTOR program- visit a kid who needs school/emotional help every week </p>

<p>work experience- tutor and a babysitter for a kid w/ down syndrome</p>
