What do you hate....that almost everyone else loves

@HImom

I can phrase that differently: I dislike the act of loudly speaking during a movie. Some do that, whether they enjoy it and do it purposely or are simply oblivious to the fury of those around them. hehe

Raw onions…most people must love them as they are in EVERY salad just about at every restaurant. I always have to remember to have them delete the onions when I order salad.

I already answered earlier: Coffee.
But I forgot to add: Tea & Beer.

Others have reminded me of things I forgot initially:

Roller coasters
Shopping

Dislike: Coffee, eggs
Hate: olives–any olives.

Football, and I live in a football obsessed state.
The noise of sports on TV. Most TV noise, in fact.
Bacon. Ham. Oh, will choke it down on rare occasion to be polite, but too much salt and fat.
Stravinsky. Violence of any sort in movies. Heavy metal music.
Very dry wine. Brut champagne.

The Big Bang Theory
I Love Lucy

Talking on the phone.

Bargain hunting. Managing my money.

Talking on the phone with anyone other than my mom, my children, and my sister.

@romanigypsyeyes !!! :open_mouth:

I just do not like it :confused:

I tell people I’m allergic because it’s just easier than explaining that no, I really just don’t like chocolate.

However, safety features like automatic braking when there is an impending crash are available in less expensive cars. For example, the 2017 Toyota Corolla has it standard on all trims.

Of course, if a less expensive new car is still expensive to you (i.e. you prefer used cars in a price range where there are no new cars), then you may have to wait a few years for some of them to be available at lower cost as used cars.

I agree @FallGirl, I hate talking on the phone. Thank goodness for email and texting!

Mr.B hates chocolate cake. Will not touch it, but loves both milk and dark chocolate and will eat non-chocolate cake.

Hotel rooms…the thought of human DNA on surfaces not cleaned properly skeeves me
The “drink” made especially for the occasion-too sweet made with cheap swill.
Buffets-too many people touching the spoons and breathing/coughing/sniffing on what I just scooped on my plate
Bachelor/bachelorette getaways-even MORE enough time/money already celebrating the bride and groom

^Ick. Thanks. I spend a lot of time in hotels…

I think most people these days don’t like to talk on the phone…

My question is WHY? Easier to talk than to type. I miss the old days of daily/weekly or monthly calls from various friends “just because…”

Also miss the days of my southern youth (not to mention Peace Corps village life) of neighbors dropping by.

Talking on the phone is less intrusive than skyping…guess I’m showing my age.

…SO, I guess I hate how distanced everyone seems to be. And though Facebook is useful, the self-consciousness of the image/product rather than the spontaneous real thing…
