What do you learn in a college writing class?

I’m not sure if this is the right thread to post this in, so let me know if it’s not.

I’m still in high school, but I’m taking a couple of online college classes this summer and I just want to know what to expect.
I’m taking college writing 1 and 2 and elementary Greek 1 and 2.
How much work should I expect from these classes? Will they be really hard?

That’s pretty much all I want to know. Thanks to anyone who answers.

The writing class shouldn’t be that hard if you’re still in school, not unless you’re typically bad at it. I found that college classes are a lot less “tricky” and more straightforward than high school classes, if that makes any sense. In first level college writing, I’ll bet your first assignment will be “write a 2 1/2 page paper about a memory” or something like that, so, if that sounds hard to you, then you should try to practice a little bit. You can punctuate correctly, judging by your post, so you’ll probably be ok.
