I like information garnered from students and parents which can’t be found anywhere else.

I dislike people wasting everyone’s time by posting items they don’t know. For example, “I think I heard the deadline might be January 15.” Thanks for wanting to help, but if you don’t know the deadline, don’t post anything. A better answer would be “I received an e-mail stating the deadline is January 15.” That is definitive.

I dislike people wasting everyone’s time by asking questions for which they can find the answer simply by going to the college’s web site or doing a simple Google search.

I dislike people criticizing my answers rather than refuting them. Again, it is a waste of everyone’s time to snipe rather than provide useful information.

I dislike threads in the wrong forums and moderators not moving them to – hey, wait a minute … this thread was started in the wrong forum.
