being alone
Airports and flying.
When I was little I used to love ketchup sandwiches.

If it is just a routine cleaning, my mouth will feel very fresh once it is finished.

With modern pain management, I can turn off my phone, doze off in the chair and know that nobody is going to bother me for a few hours.
Even if I am in some pain or discomfort when the anesthesia wears off, it is typically an improvement over how I felt when I went in.
Rhubarb raw–just to suck on in the summer. Childhood memories.
Grilled PB --grew up with it with a glob of mayo and lettuce. Need OJ to drink with it too.
LOVE seriously modern architecture. Grew up in 1910-and on houses. Only house I ever
loved was a spanking new one built in 1960. I get a serious vote here as I lived in 14 houses
within my first 16 years. Not military, just a nut for a mother.
Cutting my tiny patch of grass with a reel mower. No noise or fumes! Then edging with scissors (heavenly on a spring day.) Getting my hands in the dirt. Mixing the compost.
Yes…airports (but not quite as much as I did in the past.) Landing in an entirely new place!
Open-ended travel alone or with a kindred spirit…with ideas but no locked-in plan. Wandering the streets of a new city.
True surprises (happy ones of course.)

When I was young I loved Mayo-and-tomato sandwiches (probably would still, but allergic to the soy/egg.)
Morning light (once coffee cup is in hand)
When I was young, my mother made cow’s tongue and it was actually a favorite of mine.
Also like Barry Manilow.
The foods I cook.
Cow’s tongue stew is a favorite of mine and dad’s.
My medical insurer–they have paid most claims less strife than many others I’ve heard/read about. I’ve been with same insurer nearly my whole life.
H loves driving, especially twisty mountain, coastal roads. Me, I’m happy being the passenger!
^ Ha! My husband likes Barry Manilow. And Neil Diamond. He happened to play Brazilian jazz on one of our first dates and I was so impressed. He said later he almost put on the Neil Diamond instead. Methinks in that case our story could have gone the other way
Oh, stinkbugs (though I know they’re bad, bad, bad for the garden.) I think they’re cute. Can’t bear to kill them. And that smell…well, I think it’s kind of…herbal. DD thinks I’m crazy and she detests them.
Mr. B loves Yanni… Just shoot me.
In the spirit of the season…fruitcake!
