WHAT do you neeeed to get in?

<p>To get into dartmouth what GPA and SAT scores are needed? Is it more or less competitive than princeton or yale?</p>

<p>dartmouth has a ton of valedictorians/saluditorians thats for sure (I ran into many on my visit)
dont know about SATs, but i think the mean is around high 1470’s old test</p>

<p>You don’t “need” anything per se. Just look at USNews stats to get a sense of the range: the tenth/quarter/half percentages are 88/97/100 and the 25/75 for sats is 1360-1550. Dart is MUCH less competitive than the big three. It has about 6,000 fewer applicants and consequently a higher acceptance rate.</p>
