I just heard of this major called: Cultural Economics.
What do you all think about it? Can it be competitive with other economics / finance majors? Do you think this major, together with the right internships, will help in the finance industry?
It looks really cool, being it takes economics, sociology and anthropology together.

It depends on the major and what you do with it and also what else you take.
On it’s own, a cultural economics major might be comparable to a regular economics major (but not necessarily a finance major). But a student who coupled that with significant quantitative courses and a couple of good internships could have a good shot at finance jobs.
