(Taking SAT once more this summer, hoping for at least 2250+)

<p>Your good. I think you’ll get in at most places. Some people may say that you need to do very well on the SAT, but anything around a 1450 (M + CR) is good enough.</p>

<p>I agree with hydrogen3k. I think the most important aspect is actually having good clinical experience (i.e. shadowing, possibly research, and of course volunteering) and writing good essays. The importance of the SAT is probably overemphasized by most people. I had a fairly high SAT, but was weaker in clinical experience and wrote (what I perceived to be) pretty lame (and rushed) personal statements, and that’s why I don’t think I got much love from a lot of programs.</p>

<p>thanks for the feedback. i hopefully can make 1500 (M + CR) this summer. and i will do some shadowing this summer.</p>
