What do you think my chances are...

Okay so I am taking the ACT in June. I’m a sophomore. Besides my three AP tests these last two weeks, it will be the first very large standardized test I have taken.

Right now, I am in Geometry (and breezing through it), Honors Chemistry (i’m pretty good at it compared to others), AP Biology (eh…I’m okay) and I do fairly well with english. I have never had a physics class, and my so-called pre-physics year (8th grade science) was awful and the teacher didn’t teach us squat!

In my state, our math goes Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry so I know some algebra and I’m really good at geometry.

My Chemistry teacher has told us that they don’t ask like subject material stuff generally in the science, but more if you can interpret the graph? Is that true?

I’m just resting now from all my AP Studying, but what should I do to practice for the ACT? I want to get a good score! What’s a good study book to get? Thank you guys for your help!

Your teacher is right, there is no subject matter on the science test. Just interpret graphs and you’ll be fine. I would just buy a few practice tests, that should be all you need. Math is going to be pretty rough for you since you haven’t taken Trig yet, but maybe you’ll luck out and there won’t be much trig on there. Make sure to learn grammar rules, especially commas, semi-colons, and colons.
