PM me for my common app essay

asian girl, applying reg

I thought Johnson school was only for graduate students.

Oh ha sorry. I’m applying to the undergrad business program. I should prob get that straight before I apply…

I sure hope you know the CommonApp doesn’t have that many spaces for extracurriculars.

Yeah, but you’re allowed to add another sheet for activities/awards

I’d say your chance is practically zero given you were dumb enough not to realize that the Johnson School is the graduate program before posting.

Ugh, your math stats are terrible. AEM students would love to have you admitted so that you help bring the curve down.

cdburningmaster, yeah sorry that was my bad. I didn’t remember the name so I just did a quick google search, typing in “cornell business” and the Johnson School popped up and I forgot that business majors weren’t under it

Wow, I’m surprised you didn’t lash back at me.

I guess you deserve a chance then, heh. Best of luck!

You have a great shot and don’t listen to some of the rude people that posted. Remember, just because you have great ECs etc doesn’t mean you can write a mediocre essay. With a writing score like that, I’m sure you can write a great essay.

You’ll do fine, Stephanie. Just be sure to apply to more than 1 college. Business management is an option only at the Agriculture/Life Sciences college, which is a State college and thus obligated to accept mostly kids from New York state. It seems likely that you will choose CAS as your second choice.

Thanks. I’m looking into management consulting as a career field (of course that’s not permanent since I’m only 17) but I’ve read that your major doesn’t really matter to employers. So would it be wiser to apply to CAS as a political science or international relations major even if it’s a risk because I may not want to still go into this field?
