What do you think of these majors?

I was looking at the UMN majors and found these two majors that were listed under engineering. What are your thoughts?

https://webapps-prd.oit.umn.edu/programCatalog/viewCatalogProgram.do?programID=166&strm=1115&campus=UMNTC

The lack of math required is appalling.

For IS, I don’t see why wouldn’t you go for CS instead. The math requirement for IS is very low, which makes sense.
What do you want to do?

These majors are NOT part of the College of Science & Engineering at the UofM, the degree is a Bachelor of Applied Science from the College of Continuing Education instead.

I’m not saying these are bad, but they are totally different and shouldn’t be mistaken for UofM engineering or CS degrees.
