you should be performing at the top of your school and doing the best with your given circumstances, for those reasons alone NYU early is a bit of a stretch. your sats are also a little low, but your gpa is good so theres a chance. i know someone who got into nyu with less, so its very possible. good luck!

I think you have a really good chance. You UW GPA could use a tad bit of a boost for even more competative chance, but you shouldn’t have to much of a problem. My school is the same way. I’ve taken all honors classes and have like a 3.3-3.4 GPA, yet I’m only in the top 35% of my class b/c my school does rank by your GPA. So if you take all easy classes and have a 3.8 GPA, you’ll have a higher rank, which definitely over-rates my schools ranking system.

thanks guys, anyone else have input?

i think you have a good chance. #2 public in nation? thats cool. i wonder how they come up with this. my school is ranked #1 public in NJ, and NJ is the #1 state for public education in the nation. i wonder where we would be if we were ranked nationally. but anywho, for NYU ur stats look pretty decent.

thanks stanford. Our school is ranked #2 with respect to the number of kids who pass the AP tests and the number of kids who graduate with an IB diploma

does anyone here really KNOW anything about admissions into NYU???

did you get any soccer recrutiers to your school, amek any video make a profile of your stats?

I tried to contact the soccer coach at the school but couldnt find any email address or anything on the website…i havent expressed that I would like to play for them besides for just checking the box labeled “plan to continue in college”
is that bad…should i do more?
