what do you think

ok chances…really.
SAT I: 800 Math, 770 Writing, 730 Verbal
SAT II: 800 Math, 790 French, 720 US Hist
AP classes: Art History, BC Calc, World Hist, US Hist, Physics C, French Lang, Stat, French LIt, Eng Lit, Environmental
(all 4s and 5s except one 3…and a few to take in May)
I am extremely involved in dance and yoga (15+ hours/week)
I cheered up through 10th grade, was captain as a sophomore, but then stopped to pursue other interests
I am involved in Math club, VP this year, went to Nationals for the first time as a sophomore…always did well on AMC (3rd in state sophomore year) and invited to AIME
Also very involved in french club (Pres. this year) and student gov’t (in executive committee this year)
I wrote my essay about the French foreign exchange student that lived with my family last year and the havoc he wreaked on everything…but also what I learned from the experience
I had a bunch of family go to Yale…3 generations ago.

ec’s look kinda generic…

if u had a bunch of family go to yale…

iono. better chance than me.

gosh. you’re like me. it’s kinda weird. we both cheered… and our SAT scores are like identical except i got an 800 in verbal… and i got a 720 in U.S. history too…

but anyways. yeah. having a legacy is always a plus.

How come you didn’t apply ed? I would worry a little that being a legacy and not applying ed might hurt

I actually didn’t know much about the legacy until Thanksgiving break…
But I decided to apply regular everywhere because I hadn’t written the ‘perfect’ essay when the early deadlines came around

LOL, that is so funny…the havoc that the foreign exchange student wreaked on your family. Your grades are awesome! And I, too, love yoga. I am bad on evaluating peoples’ chances, but you are definitely in the ballpark! Good luck ;-D
