Hey REA’ers or past students/applicants,
I know that right after I hit the submit button for anything, I always realize I forgot something or could have improved on something.
Is there anything you wish you did differently about your application?
Amongst the 35000 students who apply, I’m sure I won’t make a difference. :)

Nothing, because I don’t make mistakes. I am PERFECT!

Everything

I made a typo on the roomate essay… I don’t know how I missed it. I feel soooooo stupid when I read it!

@Epitome: ME TOO. I had it proofed and everything >.>

I wish I re-took the SAT; well sort of.

I wish I got higher on my Math section of the SAT.

Also, that I UPLOADED A RESUME UGH…idk how I forgot to do that…everything else was great.

Good luck

Resume… will make sure I add that
Thanks vannaj!

Nothing. (Yet). I’ll find things to regret once I get a rejection email, but for now I feel that I represented myself the best I possibly could. There might’ve been a typo or two (hopefully not, but in reality do make typing errors and then manage to overlook them after multiple proofreads) but that won’t make a difference.

It’s all luck at this point.

Stanford explicitly states that they don’t want a resume.

^ I don’t think they could really say that because it’s something in the common app that other schools may actually want, it’s not like you can change it for school to school. And I would like to know where you read that, just wondering.

@Parcheese: You actually can change your common app from school to school, albeit it is a little different. You can make up to 10 different versions of the common app, incase you forgot to add something. And send each school a different version.
