<p>If April showers bring may flowers, what does April snow bring?</p>
<p>WashMom and I are having coffee at Sorrento’s and it is gently snowing. We had the top down on WashMom’s new car coming here, and now we need to wonder if we can get back up the hill to our house. </p>
<p>Sorrento’s - Redmond? Just a few miles directly west, at roughly Lk Wash elevation, H is puttering in the yard freezing but enjoying brief sunbreaks. No precip yet… Gotta love the convergence zone. Typical weather for the opening of baseball season tomorrow.</p>
<p>WashDad, you’ve obviously never lived in Colorado or you would already be familiar with April snow, May snow, June snow, July snow, August snow… Ah, me. Brings back memories of a sudden light dusting of the white stuff on newly planted marigolds and petunias.</p>
<p>WashDad, that wasn’t snow, that was hail. How do I know this? I was walking my dogs–about a mile away from Sorrento’s. And it was a LONG way back to the car.</p>
