I mean i know that it means that you apply earlier and might have a better chance of getting in but I wanna know if it it restricted to only one school. Could you apply ED to as many schools as you want to? Sry, i no its a stupid Q.

you can only apply to one school ED…you can use EA (early action) to apply to multiple schools

To add, if you are accepted early to a school, you must matriculate. Some schools give the Early Action option where you may apply (and hear back) early, but you are not under a contract to matriculate. Schools have different policies about Early Action; some are Early Action Single Choice (you can only apply early to their school) while other schools don’t place any limitations.

Good luck!

thank youuu

Single Choice Early Action = SCEA (Stanford has this).

ED: you apply early, you find out early, but you’re bound to go. If you don’t, then there are legal issues involving heavy fees, I believe. Only recommended if you’re sure that you can pay for it.
