What DOES Harvard want from Canadian students?

<p>I am a Canadian high schooler in Ontario and I plan to go to Harvard right after school is done. Funny this is, being in Canada, not much attention is given to if you want to go to the states at all. In fact, all the focus is driven upon U of T, Waterloo, or McGill. I REALLLY, REALLLLLYYY want to go to Harvard, but I have mediorce knowledge of how to get in. Help, pretty please?</p>

<p>I want to be an international doctor, sorta like “doctor without border” and i really like the medical program at harvard. . . so yahhh, thats why. oh yah, and cause i think that as an indo-canadian, i normallly woulnt have a chance, so i would really like to challenge myselff…i think harvard’s “big” enough ;)</p>

<p>Is that not possible from U of T or McGill? Those are good schools. Also, if they aren’t, why Harvard and not other excellent pre-medical schools in the U.S. like Johns Hopkins or whatever? (And when you say “medical,” you realize you’d be doing 4 years of undergraduate as pre-med first, right?) Just trying to understand where you’re coming from.</p>
