What does it take to fail Physics B?

Because I took it without the AP class, and what could more accurately be termed as “no-study” than self study. Had a half-year regular physics class…But the vast majority of questions had material not covered by the class. I had absolutely no knowledge of electricity when I opened up the test. 90% of my answers on the multiple choice were educated guesses. I only answered two of the essays with near-completeness, two were random guesses, one was like a two line work/non-answer. Two were left blank. (7 essays if I remembered correctly) Fell asleep after I finished multiple choice.

I was sure I had at most a 2.

Got scores back and it was 4.

???

How did that happen? Did anyone else have a similar experience? It seemed like I would have to eat my test to actually fail it…What’s the deal?

start attending religious services :D

Either you’re not as stupid as you think you are or you subconsciously uncovered some sort of supreme guessing algorithm that you must share with the world.

Well, the fact is that most AP’s aren’t really that hard since all you need to do is to pass them to get a perfect score of 5. I was so happy when I found out you only need a SEVENTY PERCENT !!! to get a 5 =D, so I just cut back a bit on my studying because I Was aiming to get every question right, and I ended up with a easy 5 ( AP Euro_)

That probably explains it, RBC. And I think I’m pretty good at figuring out tests based entirely on how the questions are asked. I’m not complaining, it’s a useful skill :)
