Hi,
Im an art major at a community college and am hoping to transfer to Central Saint Martins for fashion design.
I know that CSM is incredibly selective when it comes to their students but I was wondering how important is my GPA and if the academic aspect of my application is weight heavily with their decision making?
I’m more gifted in the arts but I’m average when it comes to my general education such as math, and science.
If anyone can inform me on what they really want, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you!
Look up “Central Saint Martins Common Data Set”. You should be able to find how they prioritize aspects of your application, along with the stats of previous admitted students.
Your portfolio will be the main factor.
They’re not particularly worried about academic achievement as long as you’re basically literate and numerate.
BTW, although you talk of transferring, you will need to apply to do the full undergraduate degree there.
Good luck.
