What qualifications must one meet in order to get admitted to Tufts University, Boston University, Georgia Tech, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), University of Chicago, and University of Washington (St. Louis)? (GPA, SAT/ACT, ECs, etc.)
Before some senior member bits your head off…Google the name of the university and the words Common Data Set. Then read the college’s thread here on CC to get a read on the ECs.
Rather than asking a blanket question, you should assemble a matrix with min qualifications, tests requirements and deadlines, etc for each.
You should google the “common data sets” of each college to derive a range of admitted students. You can see if it’s realistic for you to apply or not.
A minimum ACT of 32/3.85ish.
And don’t forget to put “buzzwords” in your matrix. Each one looks for certain qualities. You will see those words over and over on their sites. They will help you know if you will fit in, and what to emphasize on your essays.
