What does "making a decision shortly" means?

Your Application is Complete. The admissions committee will be making a decision shortly.</p>

<p>What does shortly means? Days, weeks? </p>

<p>I have to relocate from overseas, so it would be nice to to get the decision as soon as possible.</p>

<p>Things are a little different for me. I applied as transfer student from Germany but have permanent residence status for the U.S., so its not a international admission. </p>

<p>I think Lisa could not help me in this case?</p>
