<p>I just signed up because my school just got on it. It says I got poked, what does poke mean? It doesnt tell you on the site.</p>
<p>it doesn’t do anything. It says it somewhere there, that the person who made it just put it there for the hell of it. It’s just a goofy thing with no actual purpose.</p>
<p>There’s lots of famous people on facebook too, if you take the time to find them =P (people made them with their accounts, eg: Edgar Allen Poe, Captain Planet, Kool-Aid Man, George Washington, etc)</p>

<p>Poking people is just like saying hi. Instead of having to send them a message just to say “hi…bye”, you can just poke them to show you’re thinking of them.</p>
