I recently got a letter from a csu that says “congradulations, you have been provisionally admitted…” I am confused on what that means exactly… anyone have an idea?
Which CSU? All schools will give you a provisional admission, meaning you need to maintain your current GPA and no D’s or F’s in your Senior classes or you could possibly have your admission rescinded. There should be an explanation regarding what is expected of you from each school.
It means that you have been accepted to the school, and that they will be checking your senior year grades and maybe also your disciplinary record. If you have no significant drop in grades, and stay out of trouble, you will be fine. If there is a drop in your grades or there are disciplinary grades, your acceptance will be rescinded.

@xoxodynamo: The provisional admission for the Cal States is pretty standard. Just keep good grades in your Senior year and stay out of trouble like @KKmama stated above. Good Luck.
