<p>Perhaps I’m overthinking it, but when I saw when AO’s represent certain states/areas, does that mean people from those areas are to interview that person? Or does the officer only visit those areas. Sorry if this question is obvious, maybe I’m overlooking it. Thank you!</p>
<p>The schools probably divide the pool, so that AOs know the regions/schools/etc. in parts of the country, international, etc. It might be the person who goes to that region for admission events, etc. One school DS interviewed with the AO who was responsible for 9th grade boarding boys. But sometimes the interview schedule doesn’t work when a child is there, so I wouldn’t worry too much if you don’t get the AO for your region. They will get together to discuss applicants at some point if they divide things up. </p>
