What does that mean?

I posted this somewhere else but I didn’t get any feedback so I starteda new thread.

During my interview my interviewer was talking as if I had already been accepted.

Ex: I told him I wanted to go to law school and he replied…“well, once you’ve graduated from Princeton you can get in almost anywhere.”

Is this a sign he’s going to write me a postive letter? Or maybe more?

It means only: if you are accepted and you graduate, law school admissions should be not as difficult as when graduating from other institutions so if Princeton admits you please come.
Remember the interview is as much about selling Princeton to you as it is selling you to Princeton.

I guess you have a point. It just that he kept saying things like I was already accpeted. I just thought that maybe it was indicating anything. Guess I was reading too much into it.

My d’s interviewer used the same type of tone…and she was deferred ED.

yea…I’ll have to agree with everyone else who posted. I don’t think the interviewer had any prior knowledge about your chances of admission. :-</p>
