What does the M mean?

<p>If I’m a first year, can I enroll in classes that have an M in the number? Like for example, ‘something’ M187?</p>

<p>It means the course has another title within another department. For instance, English M40 is the same as Linguistics M10. Doesn’t matter what year you’re in.</p>
