Hi! I am an exercise science/pre-pt major planning to go to pt school in a few years. Prerequisites for PT schools require a minimum of 2 semesters/3 quarters of subjects like chemistry. If you keep reading on the college site it says a minimum of 2 courses of psychology required. I was planning on taking general chemistry I over the summer, but would that count since it says semesters not courses? I know that if I take the courses, even during the summer, they will be on my transcript, but would I have to take an additional chemistry course during the school year to fulfill the semester requirement?
Thanks=)

No. Summer courses are usually equivalent to a semester course - when they say semesters, they are using it as shorthand for semester-length courses that cover what what a college on the semester-schedule would cover during the fall or spring. So if the Chemistry I you will take over the summer is basically the same as the Chemistry I as that school would offer during the Fall, you’ll be good.

Thank you!
