<p>Wash U sent me three packets containing confirmation of my information, viewbook and other information about scholarship a month ago. And a few days ago my teacher received a letter from Wash U.(I am an International student and of my teacher’s students I am the only one applied to American Universities.) The admission office encourages my teacher to send some of her talented students’ information to Wash U so it can add them to its mailing list. Why did Wash U sent me these packets after I applied? Does anyone’s teacher receive the same letter as my teacher?</p>

<p>My teacher told me the other day that she received the same letter asking for students’ information. As far as the packet of information, they send that to everyone who submits the pre-application datasheet.</p>
