Anyone else who got this. Any idea/hint what it (Overnite Decision Ltr Request) means?
I am not reading too much into it nor am I fretting over the decision (It’s a reach for me anyway) but wanted to know what it meant anyway.

Thanks !!

EDIT: Oh, and if there’s been a thread on the same previously, just provide the link.

Listen. Lets cut the crap, Adcoms do this ever year, and decisions come out april 1st, I’m pretty sure they won’t “slip up” and accidentally “give away” all the decisions before that.

^ Sure. Sure.
But I didn’t say that they did this accidentally or that this was a slip-up.

This section is for what they have received. So they recieved a request to overnight your decision when it is made.

Last year none of this stuff correlated to who got in and who did not. Only one slip last year, and they probably won’t make the mistake this year. Under the section that lists what they have sent out, my son showed “financial aid offer mailed” a day or so before he received his online acceptance.

Yeah. You must have filled out that form for the overnight delivery of your decision via UPS, which will set you back by $50ish

50 bucks, you got to be kidding me !!!

lol just wait until you get in. i lost a key and got charged $150 to replace :D

Yeah, 50 bucks. I paid also :(

@bco- you have got to be kidding me. Knowing CMU, I’m sure it mustve been some biometric eye scanning thing =P

I lost my Id, but the charge was only $35 to replace it…not 150?

You must have lost a real key-- one that required some locksmith guy to replace something and you were charged for the time and the equipment.

Meteman:

click on the financial aid tab within your ‘where am I in the process’?

It reads:

Financial Aid Notification
Please check back in mid-March for Financial Aid Notification Letters.

How will they tell us what the aid is going to be if they won’t send admit letters until April 1st?
