What does this SAT Math 2 raw score mean?

I took a timed practice test in Barrons and ended up with a raw score of 24. What is the scaled score and what score range should I be expecting for the Nov. 6 test?

…not that great for a subject test. According to the following website
http://www.gardencity.k12.ny.us/UserFiles/Servers/Server_879883/File/curriculum/SAT%20Subject%20Test%20Resource%20Guide.pdf

A raw score of 24 corresponds to roughly a 550 on Math II. In comparison, the average Math II score is about 654 with standard deviation 107 (according to CollegeBoard - http://media.collegeboard.com/digitalServices/pdf/SAT-Subject_Tests_Percentile_Ranks_2011.pdf).

Then again, there’s a wide consensus on CC that Barron’s is generally harder than the actual exam, so scores are more unpredictable.

Hold on, the pdf you sent me says that it corresponds to a 630?!!

You were looking at Math 1. Whew, that’s a relief.

Oops, I said the test date is Nov. 6 when it is actually Nov. 3

Whoops! My bad…

Clearly, a 630 is much better than a 550 (almost one standard deviation better!). Still slightly below average, but one month should be enough to pull off a good score.

So I just looked in a collegeboard practice test book and the scaled score for a 24 was 600 for one test and 620 for another.

Assuming that my score range for Barrons is 600-630, has anyone got a similar score in Barrons? What was your score on the real test?
