What does "unusually advanced" mean?

In harvard’s supplement, you are able to submit “unusally advanced” work. I am thinking about sending in an economics essay (3 pages) I wrote for the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank Student Essay contest last year. I was one of 20 finalists, the contest was open to juniors and seniors in that bank district (6-7 states), and I won $100.

I’m not sure if this would be considered “unusually advanced” though? Would it hurt me if I sent it in and it wasn’t "unusually advanced’? I don’t want it to “clutter” my file.

I think I read somewhere on their website that sending in work that isn’t unusually advanced does tend to hurt applicants.

By unusually advanced, they mean something like a research paper on quantum electrodynamics or an awesome painting. I don’t think sending your essay would hurt you in any way though.
