<p>yeah but my gpa is well below average, and I’m a flagged application - they like to LSP flagged applications if they think it would have been a more questionable admissions decision had the applicant not been flagged.</p>

<p>flagged means that there will be some sort of notification that the Dean of Admissions has some special interest in the app. This comes from having parents working at NYU - yaaaay. So while this means that my chances of getting in go way up (I ED’d) - so do the chances that I end up in LSP, which I would be a tiny bit upset about</p>

<p>by first generation they mean first in your immediate family to go to college. It’s a beneficial attribute in college admissions.</p>

<p>cheeesse theres a lotta indians applying…! thats good i guess. im indian too…i was kinda hopin to have SOME indian friends maybe! cuz i dont really have that many indians where i live or any diversity really. and maybe some chinese and african friends : ] and all the other races. </p>

<p>u have a pretty good chance arsenal. its really a 50 50 chance now for u. like nothins really “bad” on ur record i dont think. unlike mine : p (my sat scores) lol</p>
