What else should I be doing to ensure acceptance into UCs/Private Schools?

I’m planning on majoring in pre-pharm. I’m currently a high school junior, taking 2 AP classes (Lang and Psych, yes that’s not very many, I know) but next year I’m planning to take AP Chem, Gov/Econ, and Stats. My only B is in Spanish 3, and throughout 9th and 10th grades I had all A’s. I took the SAT last month and got a 1360 (690 Reading/Writing and 670 Math). I plan to retake it, but I don’t know what score to aim for. Extracurricular-wise, I’m secretary for an animal community service club and I’m in two other clubs, one medical related. I want to get a job and also start volunteering at a hospital but I have no idea where to start.

I’m sorry for how much this sounds like a list, and I obviously won’t be listing like this on college apps, but I’m confused because I keep hearing different things from counselors/parents/relatives, etc. so getting more advice would be great. Thanks to anyone with advice!

Which UC’s and private schools are you targeting?

https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Here is a link for the Freshman Profile for all the UC’s the 25th and 75th percentiles for test scores and UC GPA. For the best chances you want to be at or above the averages. Unfortunately, the SAT test scores listed are for the old SAT but you can see if you are in the ball park.

For Private schools, google their common dataset and look at sections C7 - C11. CDS will show what the school considers important for applicants, 25th-75th percentile for enrolled students test scores, average UW GPA etc…
