What exactly is IB? O____o

<p>What exactly is IB? I know that it is like AP but what’s up with the assessments and things like that. I’ve been taking IB for 6 months and now they come up with these IOP things. I have no idea that we have to do that. I heard it is 20% of your math diploma grade. So is that out of your term grade?</p>

<p>Some schools do not make the IB grade the same as the term ade. So make usre to check with your IB counselor. In my school my IOP did not count in my real grades, jst my IB graded.</p>

<p>Msg me if you need any help understanding stuff. I’m a year 1 IB student as well but I get the whole thing.</p>

<p>IOP’s are not a huge deal. It’s done first so that you can get the feel for IB. I did okay on mine, not great but okay.</p>

<p>Join the Ib student website it can help you a lot. </p>

<p>wow thanks alot! haha I didn’t really care much about it either, but I heard it is 15% of your diploma grade…which means if I get an 95 I will drop down to an 80. That’s a huge difference :(</p>

<p>Yah I tried working out my IB grade as a real grade and as of right now for english I have a 95.
But do not worry.
if you do well and work your butt off you will do fine!!!
