My options & my feelings

AP Calculus AB - I’m doing really well in this class and am about 99% sure that I’m going to take the AB exam. There is a slight chance I might take the BC exam.

AP Physics C: Mechanics - I’m doing well in this class too. It’s not as hard as Calc (but to me the AP exam is harder). If I take this exam, I definitely need to get a 5 because that’s what most schools of the schools I applied to only accept.

AP Economics - I took Economics my fall semester (Micro first marking period & macro second marking period). I did well in the class and find the concepts very easy to understand. We focused more on Micro than on Macro.

AP Statistics - I’m taking Probability & Statistics and we use an AP level textbook, but go at a slower pace. I’m getting an A in the class & don’t have any problems with the material that we’ve done.

AP Computer Science - My technology class is a college based course that allows us to take the Sun Java certification at the end of the year. I think I could 5 the A exam, but maybe a 4 on the AB exam. Would colleges accept the Sun certification and give me credit. It’s a respected industry certification and is probably harder than the AB exam.

My school offers the following on the list above:
Comp Sci A, Calc AB, & Micro

I’m not sure if they would let me take the additional exams I mentioned above although they said at the beginning of the year that I could probably take the exam. I think it’s too late to see if I can register with another school, but I’ll see what my AP Coordinator will do.

What exams do you recommend that I take? I’m definitely going to try to push for Physics C Mechanics (in addition to my list of 3 above).

Oh and…I’m a Math & Science person. I took the AP Chemistry exam (4) and the SAT 2 Chemistry (760) and did well on both. (I can only take 1 AP junior year.)
