What excuses can I write down to save my scholarship?

I’m a transferred undergraduate and currently going to a local university in VA. I transferred to this school with a 3.8GPA and a scholarship that paid for half of my tuition. However, last semester, I failed 2 classes and had to write a formal letter with a bunch of excuses I made up. I did save my scholarship, but I got put on a probation basically saying that I have to make the grades this semester. Unfortunately, I did not. I still procrastinated and always waited until the last moment to do my works and will definitely fail 1 class, but this time I want to inform them early unlike last semester where I received from them.

What I want to ask is. What excuses can I come up this time to justify my 1 failed class? Please help me out. Thank you.

Why not stop making excuses and lying and seek help for your academic failings? Otherwise you are doomed to a lifetime of failings.

Thank you for your reply. I will definitely seek help after this semester. I’ve even told my parents, and they were disappointed knowing how well I did in my last school. However, to do that, I need to get through this. If you have any other advices, please do let me know.

Nope, that’s about it.

Agree with the above. You managed to hold on to your scholarship this long by lying. There are likely plenty of students who actually deserved the scholarship and would have put in the necessary effort to keep it but here you are repeating the same mistakes and looking for more excuses. Do better.
