<p>Is the activity I describe in Short Answer necessarily in the list of activities in “Activities” Section? Can a journey or trip be called extracurricular activity?</p>
<p>The instructions appear to say that you should elaborate on one of the items from the list. I’m guessing the trip was important to you, and the description will give vital information about who you are, so it would be too bad to leave it out. Why not add it under Additional Information?</p>

<p>I think it would be a safe bet to stick with one of the 12. If you want to talk about the journey though, you can do it in the essay, which would probably offer you much more room to elaborate and emphasize.</p>
