<p>I am a 22 year old male who graduated from an Alabama high school in '06. I am not nor have ever been enrolled in college but have reached a point in my life where i feel the need to move forward. I currently live in Maine and own two properties “free and clear”. My parents are deceased/not involved and despite my minor wealth in land i have little financial means to pay for schooling. I am curious as to how my assets effect my eligibility for financial aid. Schooling is almost not an option without it due to my current bills. I scored 23 on the act exam so i don’t think i would be eligible for any scholarships based on previous performance.
